Our goal is to be the preeminent tax recruiting firm in the nation.

We restrict our work to the tax community, and we do not accept assignments that involve other disciplines.

We regret that we cannot assist companies or firms in recruiting lower-level tax professionals.

We cannot work with every tax professional who desires, or needs, to make career changes.

We cannot assist recent graduates.

Boyce Cunnane achieves its greatest success when it forms partnerships with its clients. That mutual commitment extends to fees. We consider the following arrangements:

Retained Search arrangements work best for assignments in which specific technical skills, management experience, or interpersonal abilities are essential for success in a key role and, thus, the demand for good candidates exceeds the supply.

From time to time, Bill Cunnane enters into consulting arrangements with regard to general tax recruiting, campus recruiting, marketing and advertising for recruiting purposes, staffing, succession planning, performance counseling, and out-placement counseling. Fees are based on an hourly schedule, with a basic commitment to a minimum number of hours.

Some situations warrant contingency arrangements. The nature of these arrangements will naturally depend on the specific characteristics of the situation at hand.

In every case, fees will be paid by the hiring company.

Boyce Cunnane, Inc. is, unfortunately, unable to assist recent graduates in obtaining their first tax-related professional experience. Most companies handle campus recruiting internally. We would be happy to consider those completing graduate degrees (MST, JD, or LLM) who have gained meaningful tax experience before beginning their graduate education and who fully intend to continue their careers as tax professionals.
